JUDGING BY THE COVER JR.
Interview - Cian Tormey - Superman: Son of Kal-El
- "The Rising" Story arc in Superman Son of Kal-El features the Gamora Corps, what went into designing these costumes?
- Based on your work with Marvel's Darkhold and the impressive character design, what advantage is there if any in creating character design?
- For the artists out there, what materials do you use?
- The Rising has a lot going on, with a kaiju, different super abilities at work, cities in danger, what is your high-low for this arc, meaning favorite thing to draw and least favorite thing to draw?
- You said in a recent craft breakdown "that time passes in the gutters between the panels - Time and, by extension, geography"
- How do you approach pacing when approaching your work?
- Is there a certain level of understanding casual readers should have, as far as pace, layout, and story telling when reading comics?
- Your craft breakdowns are great, does a part of you want to be a teacher?
- Superman Son of Kal-El deals in a lot of water effects, can you talk about those?
